Drama

I went to Battery Park a few days ago to get some shots but the weather was not very cooperative in allowing me to get the usual color saturation that i like. Since nature is the boss i had to submit, so i decided to fiddle with a little black and white instead. It's not really my thing, as you can see from the other posts here on the blog but this shot had such drama in it that i couldn't resist.

Go Green!

Well, I am a few days late for Earth Day, but since we all live here, everyday is earth day! In that spirit lets all do our part and "Go Green!". This one is doing double duty; it's a cheer for my favorite color, which has been missing in action for the last few months on the blog, and it's a reminder for us to do all we can to maintain this beauty.

Life

Simple, sustainers of "Life". I wonder what we woud be without them.....we wouldn't be wondering.

Brothers

These branches were on the same tree in my aunt's garden but you'd never know. Somehow there was this odd distance between them. No worries! These "brothers" are bridging the gap.

Closing

"Closing". End of the line for this pineapple plant.

Convergence

Went to my second home (have many although i don't actually own any, this particular one belongs to my grandmother) on one of my vacations and was outside just checking out the changes to the backyard and i stumbled across "Convergence". This banana plant leaf beautifully backlit by the evening sun. My favorite color definitely shines.

Differences

I hauled my laundry downstairs and was distracted by thoughts of my upcoming exam. The thoughts waned as i gazed through the window and was captivated by "Differences". Perfect greeen leaves against a pristine, cloudless blue sky. This tree reaching towards the sky as i was reaching for my goals.
